Mulberry Tillie Bag

I've fallen in love with the Mulberry Tillie bag in tan. But it's over £800 !

I don't want a copy, and apart from scouring ebay does anyone have any tips on ways to get one a lot little bit cheaper than that? (For example I know some of the big stores sometimes run 20% promotions, is Mulberry usually included in these)

I know about the outlet stores, but this is current season so am I right in thinking they won't have Tillies in for a while....?

Maybe it's just a case of waiting for the sales.

The outlet stores MAY have one. If there is one that has not passed quality checks, it will go to the factory shops, and the fault may not be noticeable to you-you just need to keep ringing them to ask if they have one.

As far as I know, the House of Fraser promo days do not include Mulberry.

My-Wardrobe tend to exclude Mulberry from discounts but if you go through Quidco, you get 10% cashback.

House of Fraser 20% off does not apply on Mulberry concessions but they do give ten percent off during these promotions, as do the beauty brands.

The Tillie is absolutely gorgeous - I'd love one too.

The Mulberry flagship on Bond Street have a sample sale twice a year - the next one will be this summer sometime. Join their mailing list and they'll send you an invite for the next one about 2 weeks in advance. They usually have fairly good discounts though I'm not sure about 'current' bags like the Tillie. They also donate the small entrance fee to charity - all good.

PS Take a child with you, preferably a baby in a sling! They sent me to the front of the (very long) queue to get in at christmas. (How the fashionistas glared).

I was in the mulberry shop in Edinburgh today. Totaaly swoon. Gillie is beautiful. Also love the Alexa.

Mulberry are sometimes included in Harrods discount events. Best bet is to wait for the sale though, I think. You can expect 30% off at Mulberry sale time (it should be June).

Hmm. Maybe its a 'special' mailing list. I was added by a friend who was already on it.
