Hey, I love wearing lipstick
but lately my teeth look yellow?! Especially
When wearing lippy? I don't drink, I don't smoke.
The only think I can think of is I like fruit juices
Which are acidic?

Could be the shade of lipstick. Have you changed it?

Browny/orangey lipsticks make my teeth look awful. I tend to stick to rose colours personally.

Hmmm... could be the shade of lippy is wrong. Go try out at a makeup counter like Bobbi Brown who'll advise. You don't have to buy it, just see what suits and maybe get a cheaper brand.

As for the fruit juices....be careful there. Fruit and fruit juice can erode tooth enamel. Especially, if you clean your teeth within an hour or so of consumption.

At least I think that's what the dental hygienist told me!

Use whitening toothpaste or whitestrips regularly. If you drink tea, that is enough to stain your teeth markedly over time.

My teeth are naturally a bit yellow (my dentist says it's the color of my dental bone shining through - the enamel itself is translucent). Very blue-tinged pinks and reds in lipstick make me look like a vampire. So do peaches, caramel colors and oranges. It's required years of trial and error to find lipstick shades that are perfect for me. Shades that work for me are relatively neutral, middle-of-the road muted reds (neither really blue or yellow): Chanel Coco Rouge #23 and 34 and Max Factor Sunbronze # 837.

i had this problem to, but just had my teeth whitened and even so, some reds still mkae them look yellowy.
i went to a few of the counters in house of fraser and asked advice, i then brought one or two of my favourite shades from the major so called luxury brands and then went and did my own research for cheaper chemist brands.
my favourite is actually a rimmel one in a vivid pink, i would never have chosen it before.

I want to try those chanel rouge ones. How much are they? Might have to invest.
The lippys I own are mostly rosey colours anyway as I'm quite pale (even more so after giving birth!)
