Is this any good? Just doing my online Tesco's shop and it's a third off. £8.66. Any one tried it?

Depends which one?

I recently bought that one where there's a shade dial for altering use. I personally couldn't see much difference in the shade of my skin, even when I used the deepest shade. Very disappointed. And it smelt very chemically and just, nasty. I use the Piz Buin sun tan SPF's on holiday as they're high and work and I'm quite allergic to the sun. Gives me a rash and I need antihistamine injections so, yes.... have tried many a self tan product.

Have recently bought Vita Liberata Silk Chocolate Self Tan which you can get online at about 13.00 (Amazon) or £20 at Boots. It has a guide colour for idiot proof application, IT HAS NO SMELL!!!! It needs a quick application as it dried quickly and is not in any way sticky or greasy, as many of them are.

I really like this one. It did come off on my bedding overnight slightly but washed out of the sheets the next day. And they all do that a bit.

Should say, if money's no object that the best ever in terms of smell, lasting colour and easy application is the (fairly) new Xen-Tan Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe 236 mls tube product. You can get it at feelunique.com at £29.70 (and that's a good price). It's their one in a brown tube and it's excellent.

I love this but cannot justify that cash in hard times!!

But it IS the best!
