Jeans for a small bum.

Please, please help me find some jeans. I have a small bum and waist, I'm too old for skinny fit, and I quite like hipster/low slung type but my bum never fills the bum bit, so I look all baggy whereas I am actually reasonably pert for a woman of my advancing years.

Braces.

I have no bum, but sadly not a correspondingly small waist. I have yet to find a pair of jeans that stays up without the help of a good leather belt.

My mil has no bum. The only jeans she's ever liked are from Oasis. the range is called Scarlet. I saw them recommended on one of the Gok progs.

Shall I list all my dodgy bits in an attempt to aatract more help Wink Anyway why would you want a small bum, I'd give anything for a bit of oomph in my nether regions.

Seven for all mankind is kind and very flattering on my flattish bum (consequently, I have 6 or 7 pairs of them). I know flat bum sounds like a non-problem, but most other jeans look like empty bin liners on me. Trust me, not a great look for anyone.

Low-rise jeans are very problematic for me - won't stay up. Mid-rise is waaaay better.

And buy one size down if you can. Most jeans have some Lycra in them (I actually prefer ones that don't - 7FAM does 100% cotton, too), and stretch denim gets too loose after about one or two weeks of wear.

Another vote for 7FAM, I have a flat bum and these are the mosat flattering I have found.

Gap jeans fit my small bum. They are quite low rise, so waist size doesn't really matter, and I would always wear a belt anyway.

They do nice straight leg ones, although I would say you're never too old for skinnies (am in my fifties). My style consultant (age 13) says I look really cool in them Smile.

my friend who's older than me (late 50's) has capacious (but lovely) arse and wears skinnies and she looks marvellous.

makes that have worked for me have been Diesel & whistles own.
