The pansy print is pretty! Grey one is a bit dull imo.

cabbageroses · 02/03/2011 19:53

that's what I was thinking.

Though it might look "chic" on!

Pansy print- Is it mumsy?

I don't think the purple pansy one will look mumsy but it's hard to tell with floral prints until you see them in the flesh. Boden do free returns though don't they so easy enough to send back...

GeorginaWorsley · 02/03/2011 21:51

Think I'd do the grey,tbh.

cabbageroses · 02/03/2011 21:55

oh God- you lot make decision worse Grin- I am not sure if i would wear it anyway- you know how it is- best dress sits in wardrobe all year round!

It's too smart for an every day dress isn't it- more going out to dinner thing?

OP posts:
stapledmythumb · 04/03/2011 14:58

I do not think it is too smart for every day. I think both clours have possibility. What is your colouring OP?

SheWhoMustNotBeFlamed · 04/03/2011 15:45

WHAT 20% OFF????????????

dexter73 · 04/03/2011 15:56

Order both and send one back?

Gogopops · 04/03/2011 15:59

Prefer the grey.

What's the 20% off code??? Confused

I knew there was 20% off the summer preview only.

Go, on share with us.

Prefer the grey.

Pansy print- Is it mumsy? Possibly....

pirateparty · 04/03/2011 16:12

Grey is lovely. Now tell us your 20% discount code!!!

SheWhoMustNotBeFlamed · 04/03/2011 16:23

Spill, or else ...

PepsiPopcorn · 04/03/2011 16:39

They're both nice - will depend on your colouring which would look nicer on you IMO.

Lizzylou · 04/03/2011 16:42

Grey, very definitely.

cabbageroses · 05/03/2011 10:12

Sorry ladies- the 20% is still from preview- I have just got the trench coat after a wait of months, and am returning it- so can use the 20% again.

Worth noting that if you order something in the previews you can always exchange even for a higher value and still get 20% off new order.

OP posts:
SheWhoMustNotBeFlamed · 05/03/2011 11:18

But can you use it on anything in the collection, or only on the preview stuff? 'Cos if you can use it on any old thing, I may even order something from the hugely dull preview just to return it and get 20% off something I WANT

cabbageroses · 05/03/2011 11:49

you can use it for anything- obviously preview is not preview any more once it's up on the main site. You have 3 months to return/ get refund for anything with Boden, so the 20% lasts that long.

OP posts:
daimbardiva · 05/03/2011 20:27

I really like the grey one, v chic. Don't like the pansy one at all - it is mumsy IMHO

TheFutureMrsClooney · 05/03/2011 22:05

I've just sent the pansy one back. Very pretty, but a very bad fit, too baggy around the tummy. Lovely quality though.

domesticslattern · 05/03/2011 22:58

I saw these in RL in the shop today. Both are gorgeous prints and neither are mumsy. But the fabric is shiny and the cut was shapeless on me- would need a belt. Anyways, I didn't buy either.
In general, mooching round the shop, Boden this season has lots of colours and prints I love, on clothes which look awful on due to the cut and/or fabric quality. I did buy a few bits but was a bit disappointed TBH.

cheapskatemum · 06/03/2011 00:17

I ordered the cotton/linen floral skirt today - hope it fits ok. The dress has a belt in the picture - is that not included? Fwiw I got 15% off with the catalogue & used a £10 voucher that came with the thinner brochure in The Sunday Times last Sunday. I went for the blue skirt, it looked grey in the catalogue. I was in a similar quandary to OP about whether I should've gone for the red instead.

Poxykids · 06/03/2011 00:23

ooh, what's the 15% code?

cheapskatemum · 08/03/2011 19:13

ST15, but they didn't honour the £10 voucher :-( Still, the skirt has come & is very nice, if a little snug!
