Under eye lines (not bags or dark circles actual indents!)

I am dispairing about the lines under my eyes!

They are not puffy bags or dark circles but actual dark indents under my eyes, I have tried all mannor of creams to reduce or get rid of them but nothing seems to work.

I even e-mailed a local cosmetic place and they said they couldn't help! Surley they must be able to use fillers or something?!?!?!

Has anyone had this or know of a cure? I'm not even 30 yet and I look totally knackered all the time!

I have these too - just seem to have arrived. They really age me and I too can't seem to do anything to cover them up and hide them. Was advised that by cosmetic nurse (when I had micro dermobrasion) that I would need a filler. She couldn't garentee it would work either. She said botox wouldn't do it as she didn't advise botox around the eye area.

Don't know how true this advice as I was only asking her and not genuinely enquiring. At the time I thought that was a bit drastic, but that was a year ago and now I'm sick of seeing the troughs!

Watching with interest...

I did see someone on hear mention a "tear trough"?!?!?! I wonder if that's what the problem is called?

The cosmetic place I called didn't seem to think a filler would help Sad

Hmm OMG! Well I did some reading up on tear troughs and have just phoned a local clinic and booked myself in for a consultation for fillers! Ekkkkk!

I just try to cover up with touche eclat.

sweetheart · 02/03/2011 15:31

trouble is that doesn't work when you have actual indents to fill Sad

Ohh can you tell me how you get on sweetheart?

They definatly can't be covered by touche eclat - I think covering them makes them look worse

sweetheart · 02/03/2011 15:49

The person I spoke to said they should be able to do fillers and will be from £325 - £500. I'll let you know how I get on.

Ouch! How long does that last?

sweetheart · 02/03/2011 19:59

I think she said it lasts about 9 months

Can you do before and after pics if you go ahead???

catinboots · 04/03/2011 09:56

I've wanted this done for ages

TattyDevine · 04/03/2011 09:59

That was meeeeeeeee. (Who found out about tear troughs). Yep, fillers do work, if the clinic you spoke to said no then they dont do them. There are certain filler technicians that specialise in tear troughs. Looks like you've found somewhere anyway.

cheekychopsmum · 04/03/2011 10:03

Tatty - have you had it done? If so what was it like, how long did it last and what did the area look like after the filler had gone?
