Do you have a sweater shaver? Indispensible or waste of time? And has anyone got rid of their sweater bobbles using an ordinary razor?

Mine is indispensable and worth every penny.

I hate acrylic knitwear so all mine is lambswool or similar which is great but pills like mad, ime.

I wouldn't risk an ordinary razor.

BendyBob · 02/03/2011 13:13

Oh yes I use mine too. Not often but when you need it it's the only thing that does the job.

A razor is asking for a sliced cardi I fear.

I've used a cheap disposable bic razor and selotape loads of times and never had any incidents! Works a treat

iwilldothis · 02/03/2011 14:39

I have a Bobble Off, works well.

mippy · 02/03/2011 15:37

By this do you mean the combs you can get from haberdasheries or actual electronic shavers?

cruelladepoppins · 02/03/2011 18:59

Mippy I mean the battery-operated shavers, but will take advice on all methods!

Thanks everyone for the advice so far.

My Mum bought me a Remington Fuzzaway for my 25th birthday. I was so livid I threw it against the wall and smashed it

Meggles76 · 02/03/2011 20:30

I used a razor and ended up with a hole in a cashmere cardi Sad
