Haven't tried it myself yet but I've got S11iL, for 10% off, free delivery and returns. Smile

whiteswan · 02/03/2011 13:42

Thanks Esmee - you are a hero! I've been waiting for one for ages! Thank you.

Thank you so very much, Esmee. I just ordered the Catala sandals there with your code. Very chuffed!

Esmee · 02/03/2011 15:26

Glad I could help! Smile I quite like the stripy jersey top, the one with the two patch pockets. Think it would look nice with dark skinnies and a blazer?

FrancesFarmer · 02/03/2011 21:56

Yes, I think that would be a good look.

whiteswan · 03/03/2011 14:13

Yep that sounds fab. I have gone a bit bonkers on the basis of free returns so will report back if anyone interested.....?

I'm interested. I think this season's catalogue has some lovely items, if a bit overpriced!

Esmee · 03/03/2011 16:02

Ooh yes please do report back whiteswan Smile

Oh I do love a Toast thread . I bought two grown on sleeve cardigans in teh sale for £30 each and have worn them non stop.

HortensiaJo · 04/03/2011 17:54

The code S11iL gives me free p&p - but not 10% off!
Confused

mumonahottinroof · 04/03/2011 18:08

The meanies will only apply the 10 per cent off to things you buy from the mini catalogue they've been sending out with various magazines. If it ain't in the catalogue you don't get the discount.

I did a mega order and have started a thread here somewhere saying I was unimpressed by the whole lot - the stripey top was the best but even that I think will go back. The rest gets a big thumbs down.

Reporting back:

I received my Catala sandals in cinnamon tan yesterday.

I'm very pleased. They look like they do in the photos, they're nice and light and I look forward to wearing them in summer. I've wanted a pair of Chie Miharas for ages too, so that's a bonus.

I'm considering buying a pair of the Saltwater sandals later on too as they can be worn in water and would be good for the beach but I'm not sure yet.

I also like these lace-up boots but I'm not sure how versatile they'd be so it might be wiser to wait and see if I can get them for less in the summer sale.

Clothes-wise, I've decided to buy Toast clothes on sale only (apart from things I fall head over heels in love with at first sight) because although they are good quality, they don't have enough of wow factor to pay the full price.

I'll be waiting for other people's feedback :) (yes - I am a bit obsessed with Toast). :)

FF - I feel much the same as you, I always want to like Toast things and am very pleased with some of the clothes I have had from them but they are expensive and can be a bit droopy and ill fitting ( well the dresses can ) I am waiting for the word on this jacket here I have tried it on in blue in the Cheltenham shop and the darker colour in John Lewis Oxford Street but I'm still not really 100% sure it can be my "go over everything" for this summer. Has anyone else got one?

opps. sorry double post!

faustina · 08/03/2011 16:15

oh higgle, that's exactly the jacket I'm thinking of too! Could you possibly tell me what made you not buy it in john lewis? Thrilled to know they have a concession there btw - I had no idea!

higgle · 09/03/2011 07:52

I still haven't decided really. There seems to be a dearth of not-too-smart jackets that will go with most things about and I need to get one that will go over a couple of dresses and my other casual stuff this summer and be relegated to the same role with my work clothes later on. The problem is that most of the jackets this year are rather trapeze shaped, which doesn't suit me as I have wide shoulders and need something more shapely. At the moment the toast one in the colour that is not really washed black, much nicer than that, is front runner.

whiteswan · 09/03/2011 19:53

Ok Feedback from my order...

I love the Wedges and this tunic but the Teri tunic was a bit too clingy round the waist and the big slouchy jumper was just a bit meh. I topped up on my usual plimsolls but flippin 'eck they have jumped up in price! I bought these in a different colour a couple of years ago and I'm sure they were £45!!

Still a pretty good haul (esp with the 10% off some stuff and free delivery/returns code - thanks again!)

Keen to know what anyone else makes of their order.... Smile
