Too old for denim mini?

Am 37, legs ok, size 12. Really feel like getting out of jeans but don't know whether am too old. Am quite busty so that is a concern. Was thinking with tights and boots or leggings. Bit clueless really! Any thoughts?

Now I am thinking about whether my arse is a bit saggy.

I have Boden's "mini" which isn't mini at all, tbh. Finishes just above my knee and is a lovely fit.

I am 40 and was reassured by the S&B ladies last year that it was more than okay for me to wear it :o

I wear mine with simple tops, opaques or leggings and boots or ballet pumps. In summer I will wear with bare legs and flip flops because it isn't a pelmet and therefore decent enough length for school run Wink

The only no-no IMO with denim skirts is just don't wear them with heels.

bamboostalks · 02/03/2011 13:26

That Boden looks a lot longer than the GAP one I have just ordered. Oh dear! Ended up with 35% off at Gap though plus free p and p. Bought some narrow leg chinos too which were 25% off.

I am 41 and wear denim (and other) minis all the time, even in the summer with bare legs. My legs are really decent so it's ok (best part so what the hell, I'm going for it I say!)

I sent the Boden one back as it wasn't in the least bit mini (but I am only 5ft 1)

Bamboo stalks - yes it is - I'm 5.3" and its 2 inches above knees, looks darker than photo too. The model is clearly amazonian. It's a lovely & comfortable skirt.

PaperView - kindly go away with your irrelevant, sexist and revolting remarks, seriously -who do you think you are? and BTW what ARE you doing reading these threads anyway? Kindly go back to Men & Motors, The Sun et al.

bamboostalks · 02/03/2011 22:06

Thanks, have ordered it so will soon see.

Is PaperView a bloke then? What a weirdo, frequenting this sort of thread.

Olive07 and bamboostalks - i am not a man. Can you point out where i was sexist? And why my opinion is not valid on this thread? s far as i can see, i gave my opinion...?

Yikes, sorry, just assumed olive knew something I didn't, most people do!

op-i wear a mini with leggings.either with boots or ballet pumps.

bamboostalks · 04/03/2011 13:17

I was thinking leggings but thought that really might be too young.

cheesesarnie · 04/03/2011 13:28
