I bought one recently from ELF www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~151.htm
was terrible- flakey and crap

So I want a cream or liquid eyeshadow

preferably not too pearly or shimmery and one that really lasts that I don't have to set with a powder on top

thank you

My favourite - not pearly or shimmery - is Becca Eye Tint.

mrsbumbledosem · 01/03/2011 23:24

I love Becca
where do you buy it from?

I'm looking for one , Have a few of the Bobbi Brown ones that def do last but look a bit too chalky and ageing on my eyelids.

I have a lovely revlon one here but they don't stay on long.

I use rimmel precision masterpiece.

It is good and long lasting. Colour range is limited though. Comes with a lip gloss type wand, but personally I use my finger for a more subtle, 'blended' effect.

Ggirl shame about revlon not lAsting. Possibly in this instance you get what you pay for

Why do you want cream? Never got on with them myself; powder blends much better imo.

mrsbumbledosem · 01/03/2011 23:40

Spook - is it shimmery?

I love the Boots 7 stuff - mainly cos I wear contact lenses and it doesn't bug them in any way :)

mrsbumbledosem · 01/03/2011 23:42

Just thinking about makeup which is quick to apply - for makeup lessons etc

I use the chocolate (or is it coffee, can't remember....let's say brown) and it is shimmer if applied heavily with the wand, but I wouldn't say it is when applied lightly with a finger.

UnfortunateBananaIncident · 01/03/2011 23:48

The Benefit ones are nice - and last well here

mrsbumbledosem · 02/03/2011 06:59

Ohhh thanks all I've got some good ideas now.

I should say that I have just checked and the masterpiece one is max factor not rimmed..sorry.

mrsbumbledosem · 02/03/2011 15:30

ok thanks for letting me know
Rimmel had some but they were a bit watery and perfumed so I'll have a look at the MF ones too

hello, I like the bobbi brown cream eyeshadow pots. Galaxy is a nice metallic colour without being OTT for the evening!

twoboots · 02/03/2011 18:51

i find the duo eye shadow creams good for quick application. They do last longer with a bit of powder to set them. I don't like that liquid one either.

mrsbumbledosem · 03/03/2011 18:03

Twoboots Im reluctant to try the duo because I dont think it will last long enough - though the mocha swirl looks pretty and is the exact colour I want!

Spook - I had a look at the max factor and I have to say I was rather impressed - I did a back of hand test and it seemed good and I like the taupe colours - I don;t really want a massive colour selection for this particular item- just a nice every day taupe. Actually it looked like MF has had a bit of a makeover and I liked it ( less erm dated )
