www.mintvelvet.co.uk/grey-blocked-tunic/tunics/mint-v/fcp-product/744 I have big boobs, will it just look like nothing with black skinny jeans?

Yup, definitely sack like. It'd probably make you look at least two dress sizes larger than you are.

kittya · 28/02/2011 14:34

I know!! I liked those colours as well. Damn, I need a top that covers by belly but is flattering too!

I looked at this on Saturday - its no where near as nice in RL - colour bland and quite sack like! Sorry.

kittya · 28/02/2011 14:39

Did you see anything in there that you thought was worth buying?

I was really disappointed - it was all quite shapeless and the colours insipid. I live in dull colours but even I found it uninspiring. It seemed to have dumbed down - shame as have had some lovely pieces from there.

I just dont know where to shop anymore.... Sad I love Whistles as their dresses are really flattering for my shape but they are so expensive and its the same stuff every season. Im not ready from M and S yet but, Top Shop is way too young (and small)

Tried this dress / tunic on the other day (linked to french site as couldn't find it on the UK site)...

Similar shape to the one you linked to but maybe a little more current? You might hate the colours though but thought it was worth a look.

kittya · 28/02/2011 18:10

anything that is French wont do Im afraid as their sizes are well too small for me!!

Marks and Spencer Limited Collection is always worth a look, that and their Autograph Weekend range.

Tillyscoutsmum · 28/02/2011 19:23

You need draping this

or this

this ?

kittya · 28/02/2011 20:02

Oh the last one is amazing but, 250 quid? I just couldn't ....

Tillyscoutsmum · 28/02/2011 20:31

Its a classic piece though. You could wear it for every night out for the 10 years (which if you're anything like me, will be about 3 times Wink)

Tillyscoutsmum · 28/02/2011 21:04

is this too long

pretty colour

beaded

draped again

FellatioNelson · 28/02/2011 21:13

Probably yes.

madammecholet · 28/02/2011 22:28

yup....... nice idea though, but needs a waist - maybe wear with wide belt?

kittya · 28/02/2011 22:36

The do jade one isn't nice in rl. I have a thing for things that tie around the waist. The beaded one looks nice. I haven't bought from miss selfridge since I was 17

OP posts:
Tillyscoutsmum · 01/03/2011 09:11

Yes - I did wonder whether the jade one would look a bit cheap and nasty irl.

I know what you mean about Miss Selfridge, but they do have the odd thing which is suitable for non super skinny teens Smile

kittya · 01/03/2011 09:17

they do. I got a nice cover up from there at Christmas. Theres a Whistles dress I have my eye on. I will try and link it here.
