:)

My usual eyebrow pencil just broke and is unsharpenable! Its just a browny one and not great but has been doing the job.

Anyway, now i need a new one, I thought i may as well get a really nice one. I a blonde - like pale blonde highlights and ash brown lowlights - and have pale skin.

Thankyou! :)

Either Fling or Lingering by MAC, depending on your colouring. Or if you want a more natural, soft look. MAC's Omega Eyeshadow applied with their 266 Flat Angled brush is perfect.

GretchenWiener · 28/02/2011 11:37

yes i can.
the lancome blonde one

Stuffedcat · 28/02/2011 11:49

I recently looked into this too, having used pale browny ones for years. (I am also pale, blonde) and most of them ended up looking gingery. Anyway I got a Laura Mercier one in fair blonde having read good reviews. Have to say it wasn't cheap but it it brilliant and will last ages.

laura mercier do a decent one
mac do two great for blonde
chanel do one that's a bit too much

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel - I am Ashy Blonde and it matches perfectly.

Soap & Glory Arch de Triumph - comes with a browbone highlighter too. Best colour ever, soft texture, blends itself in & makes me look groomed.

Love. It.

[hijack] These are great but as a blondey I sometimes get my lashes dyed to save on the faff - the results are just fab and make such a difference to my face.

I have search and searched for a kit to do this at home. Does one exist? It would save me a fortune if it did.

grumpypants · 28/02/2011 16:44

clinique - the double ended one in the lightest shade (1?)

Havingkittens · 28/02/2011 20:42

Yes, you can buy eyelash dyeing kits. I think you can get them in Boots but failing that somewhere like Sally's or Pak's in Finsbury Park (if you're in London) sell them.

Or did you mean brows? I've not seen brow dyeing kits but I suspect you could use hair dye in an ash blonde shade with a small flat brush to apply it. Just be VERY careful you don't get any in or around your eye.

Ok update :)

I first tried the rimmel one in hazel, cheaply priced. But it was too ginger for me.

next I did go to the the counters in debenhams but all the blonde ones were too light for the natural colour of my eyebrows and just looked weird! Confused

So, I decided to try and get my usual brown one but - discontinued!! Shock

In end thed I bought one from smashbox in taupe, its kind of a triangle shaped thingy with a gel too to 'set it'. Really nice colour but £££ Hmm

I have not used it yet, the girl applied it so I could see the colour in daylight and it looks :)

I did want the soap and glory one but it had sold out and - horror of horrors - the boots lady said they werent due a delivery for a week and I dont think i can cope without eyebrows that long! I look strange! Blush

Arrgh! I need Wine

I like the Clinique one. There's a very pale one, then a soft brown. I have blonde hair and pale skin, but sort of mousy eyebrows.

It's good because you twist it up and it's a very fine stick of colour - so never needs sharpening.

youngblowfish · 01/03/2011 22:46

upthehill Boots and Superdrug sell Eyelure Dylash kits. They last ages. I am also blonde and use the black one on my lashes (when I can be bothered) and the brown one on my eyebrows. Works a treat.

I have a lovely Dior one, as reccommended by top makeup artist!

Jewelsandgems · 02/03/2011 21:14

I decided to just use the smashbox one (begrudginly at that price!) but really do like it, looks very like my own hair and now its a more natural colour, really makes my eyes look bigger (I think before my strong eyebrow colour was almost taking over from my eyes!)

Next time tho i will be trying out the soap and glory one coz i use so much of there stuff already. Infact when its next in I might but it anyway just as a backup.
