flared trousers not jeans - do they exist?

I'm yearning for some flared trousers that are fitted at the top - 70s style but not high waisted. Ideally I'd like them in dark green/khaki but other dark colours are acceptable. The ones I've seen tend to be a bit 'worky'. Oh yes they need to be washable and not linen. Anyone have any ideas?

How tall are you? I had ones from Long Tall Sally in the past. They were a bit 'workish' though.

Actually... I tried some on recently, but I cannot remember where it was. Will try to get brain to function and get back to you. It was only a couple of weeks ago, and I had DH with me who said they looked 'a bit 70s throwback'.

I'm 5ft 8 so prob could do long tall sally - will check out their website. 70s throwback - hope my dh doesn't say that! I was thinking more 'retro chic'...
