Jennifer Hudson looks amazing. I know she has lost loads of weight but has she had work done too? Her boobs look tres perky......

Jennifer Lawrence's dress is dull dull dull.

Pen Cruz looks gorgeous too. Halle - sure we've seen it all before - style rut?

Cate Blanchett (she is so beautiful it is not true) love the skirt of her frock, not sure about the top, and those yellow flashes? Nearly gave me a migraine. DRess is a lovely colour though.

Reece looks cute as always, HBC a horror as always and Sharon Stone looks like Cruella du Ville.

Oh sorry I didn't see it. I've found her on google now. She has a shocking frock but a bloody fantastic plastic surgeon.

I think MW looks frumpy and plain, and not only that, but she looks like she knows she looks frumpy and plain.

Wow I can't believe how much my opinions differ to the majority on this thread!

I think J-Hud looked terrible. The dress was orange taffeta ffs and her boobs looked like, once untethered, they'd droop like long skinny sausages. There's good cleavage (Pene Cruz) and there's just ick. Also the dress gave her back-fat overhang. Not good.

Also terrible were Ann Hathaway (in everything but the red Atelier Versace plastic-sequin number), Nicole Kidman (shockingly bad), Halle and La Swank (yawn), Gwyneth (the severe straightened hair made her look old) and Sandra Bullock (she looked pinched, under-madeup and just drab compared to last year when she looked fab).

I thought that the only good thing about Natalie Portman's look was the colour. The dress was much too matronly and froufrou for me.

The only positives for me were

Penelope Cruz - Ok the dress was a wee bit vegas but Holy Motorboating Christ!!! She looked amazing. And she gave birth 36 days ago

Cate Blanchett - She's not your cookie-cutter starlet and never will be. She looked ethereal, elegant and totally individual - the woman is a goddess.

Amy Adams - stunning colour, fab emerald and loving the sparkle. According to the bloggers who be her dress looked much more beautiful in real life than in pictures.

Halle's dress in Fellatio's link at 21:04 is the same dress that Mila Kunis wore to the Oscars.

Nicole - what's going on with her fringe? It looked a mess at the Golden Globes as well. Someone hand that poor woman some GHDs and hairspray.

Wish Tilda Swinton was there, she always makes interesting dress choices

Cate Blanchett looked stunning (apart from that weird square bit at the top of her gown). Loved her pallor and the new hairdo. Very simple but then, the woman doesn't have to try hard, does she?

Also, loved Helen Mirren's frock. She's worn something similar in the past so, obviously favours the designer.

Wish I could do Cate's paleness....I look like I've been dug up after staying up late the watch the Oscars!!
