I cant take advantage and say Levi Curves or Uggs, its only my old aunt. I was thinking makeup but, what make and what colours are out this year?

I would say Crest White Strips or Crest whitening toothpaste, Cetaphil cleanser or Pretzel Flipz!

AKMD · 28/02/2011 10:35

Lucky Charms breakfast cereal. Leave the box.

dottyaboutstripes · 28/02/2011 10:48

DH was over there 10 days or so ago. He brought back Pop Tarts for the kids (they were ecstatic!) and for me, some Clinique exfoliator (less in $ than in £) and an accessory for my Kitchen Aid.

kittya · 28/02/2011 11:26

Im not convinced those whitening stripes are that much cheaper and theres so many types I wouldnt know where to start!! I was thinking makeup.

Anything by Aveda - much cheaper there, and your aunt can decide how much she feels like buying/carrying.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 28/02/2011 11:56

They are cheaper than eBay definitely. Philosophy stuff is much cheaper. Sephora is a massive beauty store out there and lots to choose from.

kittya · 28/02/2011 12:22

Is the Philosophy stuff a standard price wherever you get it from? What I mean is, say I was getting clinique make up, is Sephora a good enough place as any to get it from?

I dont really know anything about Aveda but I think shampoo would be heavy.

Have a good browse!
My DH normally goes to Sephora but you can also get good deals in drugstores. Philosophy is standard pricing.

barbieisaskinnybitch · 28/02/2011 13:04

My friend bought me Cover Girl Lash Deluxe mascara and it is soooooo good! I'm already traumatised about what I'm gonna do when this one finishes!!

ednurse · 28/02/2011 13:06

Philosophy Hope in a Jar, Philosophy shower gels (they are big and weigh a lot though), VS lounge wear, Flipz pretzels, cinnamon pita chips, s'mores and brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts, NARS blusher, MAC eyelashes

cookielove · 28/02/2011 13:10

Cant we get Maybelline masscarra over here?

OP posts:
NotSoPukeyMummy · 28/02/2011 17:28

Kiehl's...Creme de Corps (Body Lotion) especially.

You can get it over here but not in many places and it's cheaper over there.

kittya · 28/02/2011 18:13

Its probably going to be too heavy though, thats why I wont ask for shampoo either.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 28/02/2011 18:29

Peanut butter M&Ms. They are soooo good.

You can get Aveda cheaply here if you buy the massive bottles, just look online.

BertieBasset · 28/02/2011 18:34

DKNY jeans? You can get them for about $20 but that might be a bit more effort for your aunt and you'd have to know what you want.

MAC make up? OPI nail varnish? Guess handbag/jewellery? Again can get some things really cheap

kittya · 28/02/2011 18:35

thats what I mean, things like Maybelline if you can get them reasonable here then theres not point.

OP posts:
Spenguin · 28/02/2011 18:54

Frederic Fekkai hair products
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Fibre One Cereal bars
Jeans, Jeans, Jeans (they are in $ what they are in £, FGS!!!)
Kashi Cereal
Goldfish crackers
Maple syrup
My fiance

[Not that I'm crumbling during my diet at the moment or anything...]

kittya · 28/02/2011 19:28

Macs not cheaper. I was there end of last year and if it was cheaper it is by pennies. I can't have her doing proper shopping for me, she's 70! I just want to write her a list of three or four things that she can just walk into Sephora or Taggert and buy. Oh, I would live the new Levi Curves but, I wouldn't dare!!
