whenever the hairdresser has used the razor thing on my hair i seem to quickly get wispy / frizzy bits and split ends.

anyone else noticed this ?

i think i will ask her not to use it when i go on Thursday. my hair is longish now and in the past she has finished it off by doing that.

It depends on what you want. Mine has used a razor to get a wispy look but when i went last time he decided to blunt cut the ends to make it fuller.

If you aren't happy you might want to change hairdressers- a good one should know what technique to use without having to be told which scissors to use IYSWIM!

i hate it
i want thick lustrous hair not fliy away bits

i dont want chopping in either
i think its to cover up a bad cut

I have thick hair that needs some chopping in to make it behave. But hairdresser does that with scissors. Those razor things ruin hair
