Belle Colour dark brown number 4.

I used it today and its only bloody worked.

i have tried so many. Nice and Easy 118 was recommended to me but it burnt my scalp and the coverage wasnt even as good as Boots own.

My hair is very white in places, so i am well pleased.

Good to hear you've found something that works well. I've bought a 'coffee' colour today, haven't done it yet, though.

what make is it cristina?

I really wanted the Nice and easy one to work as others had found it good. I had a bad reaction to it, the first i have ever had in 20 yrs of colouring!!

and it still didnt cover the grey!!

How does the colour compare to loving care 118?

I've been using it for years but am finding it a bit dark now and would like to go a shade lighter but with no red/orange.

peachygirl · 26/02/2011 20:35

I've had a bad experience with Nice and Easy too it really made my eyes water. I think it contains lots of ammonia

I quite like the Loreal excellence number 5.

I know you are talking about brown shades but can anyone suggest a good mid/light blonde? Nearest is nice n easy 103 atm (used 102 b4 changed to burning formula, what have they done?) be very grateful!! Good luck with all your brown shades.

Hi PC - it's a Superdrug's own. Never had it before. I might give it a go tomorrow.

piratecat · 26/02/2011 21:34

yes what have they done, so not just me with the burning. i had really red shiny patches on my head.

the colour is lovely, chocolate brown, no red or orange. i had just had it cut, i only did the roots and decided not to comb it thru as build up on the rest of it makes it far too dark.

would say it was not quite the same as 118, perhaps a bit darker, but maybe the next one up would be good.

oh invest in some gloves, or save some from another brand as these were pretty basic.
