I've tried on this dress yesterday and was lovely from the front, took about 6lbs of me but from the back it gave me a huge bottom.

So I need a dress that looks as good as this from the front and doesn't expand my arse from the back.

Or should I just buy it and be happy that half of me looks OK?

It's the NW3 Portico Dress

I think this is nicer and won't date as quickly

FauxFox · 26/02/2011 16:11

How about this, this, or this

tethersend · 26/02/2011 16:17

That Linea one's nice...

erm not quite the same - its the bottom half of the dress that was really flattering on me, the colour and i do love the pattern.

Also it was a little more casual which is what I'm after rather than formal like the LK Bennet one which is lovely!

how about this?

TerrorFirmer · 26/02/2011 19:51

Dang - I really like that ASOS one MrsGuy but I'm in the midst of a furious row with their customer "care" team and swore not to order from them again Angry

Stylelostinlabour · 26/02/2011 20:02

Oh like the ASOS one in Navy for work and only 28 quid - hows the sizing, vanity or normal?

Like the Linea one too or how about this

Thing is if that shape and pattern make your arse look huge (which TBF it would anyones) then you are not going to find a dress with the same shape and and pattern that makes your arse look teeny. You need a change of plan Grin

Stylelostinlabour · 26/02/2011 21:04

I think you are right nancy, I'll have to accept that tulip isn't for me then. But I do love te colour and pattern so maybe that's what I should be looking for...
