Arse. I bought some things with my Boden £10/15% off vouchers ...

and I don't want to take them back. Bugger it. I was fully expecting the heinously expensive dress to look rubbish but it doesn't. I tried it on and thought that I could wear it to my DS's birthday party.

was it alot? - i just got some lurid flowery bag with mine - was too good an offer to ignore

LadyBiscuit · 25/02/2011 21:40

There was a skirt which I was happy to have because the offer made it cheeeep. The dress was nearly £60 frigging quid but I thought I would send it back because it would look horrid.

And now I really, really want to keep it :( Curse you Johnny Boden and your wiley ways

which dress?

tulpe · 25/02/2011 21:44

LOL! That will teach you to succumb to the lure of Johnny's offers :o

I bought the chambray dress, which I sent back yesterday for a larger size. I rang to see if I could arrange the exchange over the phone (for fear of a 12 week wait) but apparently they wouldn't be able to apply the voucher and discount against the new item. Instead I would have lost the value of the voucher and the discount. So now sat here with everything crossed that the dress is still in stock when they receive my return.

LadyBiscuit · 25/02/2011 22:13

The everyday jersey dress Framey. £70 normally. 70 bloody quid for a cotton jersey dress! Normally that would be fine but I've left my ££ paying job, moved to the coast and haven't got much of an income at all except for income support. So that's really a bit pricey. But it is really, really nice. It's a bit elasticated over the boobs so no gaping.

Yup, I have that dress too - minus 15%. Do really like it - sure you (and I) will get lots of use out of it. Thinking about another colourway if another really tempting offer comes along... Which colour did you get?

BigChiefOrganiser · 25/02/2011 23:58

speaking of Boden, I ordered some things for DS1 and for the first time, ordered some shorts for me. The full order isn't being shipped. The shorts are on a 10 week and 20, yes TWENTY week wait. (which didn't flag when I ordered) Is this normal for Boden? Summer will be over by the time I get them. Can I cancel them off the order?

I'm going to have to go to a store and try to find some aren't I? Bugger

LadyBiscuit · 26/02/2011 00:16

You can ditch the shorts if you want - I would. 20 weeks' wait is absurd.

poly - I bought fatigue alium. I'm all about prints this year :o

Do i have to send them an email? I checked account, but nowhere can you look at your orders and edit them

LadyBiscuit · 26/02/2011 08:09

I would just ring them. I've never had to do that with them but I did with White Stuff and they just took the stupidly long wait thing off the order

Big Chief- I was quoted a nine week wait for a dress in the autumn and received it within 2-3 weeks so you never know really, it might arrive sooner!

polyhymnia · 26/02/2011 10:45

Have cancelled orders by phone several times and it's really easy.

polyhymnia · 26/02/2011 10:47

PS ladybiscuit, liked the pattern of the fatigue allium but not a fan of red or pink! Are these colours prominent?

LadyBiscuit · 26/02/2011 16:26

It's probably about a quarter red poly. There isn't any pink at all - there is a bright red and a dull one which I suppose is sort of pinky but it's not a girly shade iyswim

Thanks - will take another look.
