Hiya it does take time and is quite hard to describe without showing but roughly you:

  1. Take a section of hair about 1 inch wide and obviously 1 layer at a time.
  1. put straighteners at the top of hair about an inch from the root.
  1. Flip the hair over the straightener so it kind of laps over.
  1. Pull straighteners down and revolve SLOWLY.
  1. Don't touch it roughly, until you have finished all of your hair then spray with hairspray and your good to go.

IME this always works but it never lasts as long as tongs.

Good Luck.

I do my hair this way, it lasts 4 days for me and then I have to wash it. The curl loosens and gets sort of messier as the days go by but that's almost better than day one which is glossy and structured (but not tight or frizzy ever so still nice)

Basically its a section as if you were straightening but I turn it under (that way you get root lift) and I do a full turn (360 degrees) before dragging it slowly through. Some demos do 180 degree turns but that never quite did it for me.

Practice, practise, practice. (I can't even spell it the same way each time let alone at all!)
