What to wear to work Christmas Party

Need idea's. Have got works Xmas party end of November. We are having a big party this year, at a posh club and staying in a posh hotel so wanted to make a bit more of an effort than my usual jeans. There will be people there i have never met before so wanted to make a half decent impression.

Any suggestions?

nothing ott. little black dress with nice shoes, so that you look good without standing out for the wrong reasons

Try Designers at Debenhams, they've got some lovely posh frocks. Helps if you're super tall though or wear heels (an excuse to go posh shoe shopping, hurrah).

I always go for smart-casual trousers, a dressy top and heels
