Please help me find a 'funeral' suit

Dear MIL passed away this morning and I have to find a black jacket and trousers suit/outfit (don't wear skirts)

Looking for something to fit an hourglass figure, I'm size 14/16 and five feet eight...under £150

I've tried looking but my head is mince

How about a jumpsuit with a jacket over?

Then you can add a scarf- either monochrome or a splash of colour if appropriate.

am knackered though not as much as my poor husband- been a very hard few days. Thank you for asking and thank you for looking for me- I can't seem to take any information into my brain esp. visual stuff

Planet sale? I recently bought two work suits from them and they are good (can't afford full price).

For example jacket and trousers

I find the sizing extremely generous (am a 12-14 and fit into a 10).

Mind you they have a concession local to me - you probably will want something you can try on in the shop and get quickly?

I'm really sorry for your loss, but after having been to a couple of funerals very recently, I will NEVER again worry about what to wear - very few people stuck to the 'traditional all black thing.' One of the funerals was packed and people wore all sorts.

I have a lovely black trouser suit from Matalan which I wear for work. Think it cost about £35 - but it is a really lovely fit - although I am a bit shorter than you but they do a long length trouser. Its a nice quality fabric for the money. May be worth a look.
