I am not the slightest bit stylish, but think they're ok.

But fuck me at the price Shock I'd have to be really sure to spend that!

DuplicitousBitch · 23/02/2011 12:29

no, they look like they belong in the footglove section at m&s

Cybsaysbaggsie · 23/02/2011 12:30

Oh no they look like those rubber half wellingtons you get at garden centres

DuplicitousBitch · 23/02/2011 12:32

hey cyb why are you on the mums in large cities thread?

Cybsaysbaggsie · 23/02/2011 12:33

heh? Mums in large cities?

DuplicitousBitch · 23/02/2011 12:37

here cyb

COCKadoodledooo · 23/02/2011 12:38

Haha! See? Told you I wasn't even slightly stylish Blush

Bunny I had those in the 80's/90's too, but they were strictly confined to the stableyard!

whiteswan · 23/02/2011 13:18

Oh fair enough - think the footglove at m&s comment put the nail in the coffin!! - How does NAP and the like suck me in - is it just me???

What is gopping btw?

i hate the word spenny

for that reason

im out

DuplicitousBitch · 23/02/2011 13:26

nice bannetyne impression

FellatioNelson · 23/02/2011 14:48

I was going to say they are slightly odd and not really worth the money, but I've spotted the word 'gopping' up thread, which says it all. Grin

notwavingjustironing · 23/02/2011 14:49

gopping sums it up nicely. Sorry. It's a no from me.

Sarsaparilllla · 23/02/2011 14:53

They are vile, sorry

HarderToKidnap · 23/02/2011 14:55

They are from Dolcis circa 1994, aren't they?

moragbellingham · 23/02/2011 15:00

Bunny I had those too - used to wear them with striped leggings (a la Max Wall).

whiteswan · 23/02/2011 16:57

Ok - I get it - thank you, you have saved me a fortune! Still don't know what "gopping" is though Confused

DuplicitousBitch · 23/02/2011 17:16

net-a-porter i just a pile of overpriced crap. desist from looking

Themasterandmargaritas · 23/02/2011 17:21

Never mind gopping, what the feck does 'spenny' mean?

whiteswan · 23/02/2011 17:27

Spenny means expensive (and they sure are - I am now thinking wtf was I thinking as it is a resounding vote against!!)

You are right Duplicitous but Net a porter does make me feel like I live some kind of glamorous exciting life (when I definitely don't) - even if it is mainly window shopping (with the odd moment of madness) Blush

UUUrghh vile!! How the hell could you even contemplate spending so much money on such ugly shoes?.

rufus101 · 23/02/2011 20:18

No, don't like them. But LOVE these Acne boots in black. They don't seem to have them on the site at the moment, but you can get them in black.
