Anyone had their teeth whitened? Laser or trays best?

I have wanted to get my teeth done for ages and have some spare cash now so am looking at the best way to get it done. My teeth are in good condition and my gums are ok at the moment. I have two teeth on the top which are fairly dark all over and the others are a bit yellow. Will they all end up the same colour or will these two still be darker in shade than the others?

Which method works best and how much pain is there during and afterwards?

Luckily I don't drink coffee or red wine and I no longer smoke so fingers crossed the results should last a while! Any other experiences?

I think there are regular teeth whitening offers on Groupon. I bought one for Zoom about a month ago but haven't used it yet.
