It's like an overtanned prosthesis.
And those dressed with sewn on contrasting top halves.

And the Cilla black chic in zara. And overgrown sweaters in orange in Cos.

WTF is going on.

Gosh yes I noticed that awful colour in the window of oasis - it really is the colour of shit isn't it?

So did you get the blow-dry and any purchasing?

FluffyMummy123 · 23/02/2011 08:08

Nothing. Wasn't in the mood and tbh nothing interested me.
Toyed with hair then decided to leave till I had a mate to emjoy with.

Like the cobalt blue though.

(Suspect that crappy "Soft autumn colouring will suit the poo-orange rather than the cobalt though. Damn)

And jumper that are bordering on being a market-style Wolf Fleece.

I'm baffled by most stuff in at the moment tbh

topshop have some especially delightful orange chino type trousers with very high waist and odd baggy folds around the thighs. immensely flattering i'm sure.

traceybath · 23/02/2011 08:14

That's where i don't get the colours thing though as always think autumns get a hideous bunch of colours.

sassyTHEFIRST · 23/02/2011 08:17

FluffyMummy123 · 23/02/2011 09:05

Sorry, but I love it very 1970's am thinking of having a Farrah Fawcett haircut to go with.

sahminspain · 23/02/2011 10:29

Hmm those oranges can be pretty tricky to pull off. I see a lot of those colours here. You have hit the mail on the head about the Cilla Black chic in Zara, I have always thought it about Zara woman, kind of Cilla black with the odd Joan and Jackie Collins thrown in.

tethersend · 23/02/2011 13:25

I have been obsessed with the 1970s for years; most of my clothes and furniture are from that era and I look like Margot form the Good Life after a night on the sauce. Now it's everywhere! It's amazing! Everyone has finally stopped taking the piss seen that I am right. About time too.

So suck up that orange, and brace yourself for the contrasting browns and blues. YES, I SAID ORANGE AND BLUE.

I will concentrate on revelling in being on trend this season, and will try to ignore the fact that I will look out of date next year.

Gillybobs · 23/02/2011 13:42
