Hello,

Has anyone been to Bicester Village? Wondering if it's worthwhile taking a trip there. Are the discounts as fab as I've heard?

Thanks

I live quite close and I very rarely buy anything from there. Neither does dh.

Its a hilarious day out. Its absolutely rammed packed with the "Its expensive so must look good Brigade".

There are a few nice shops there but mostly hideous overpriced hideous fashion victim stylee ones as well of a load of shops few (local) people have ever heard off selling complete crap like seconds knitted gloves at the bargain outlet price of £75 and they are not even cashmere or even 100% wool.

As a local girl - I pop in for a few faves like Monsoon etc but the best bit is the hilarity of the fashion victims that parade the paved public areas. They even arrive in coach loads.

I live nearby, it's really hit and miss to be honest.

It is a funny day out though as snapped says! There are some nice places to eat as well so you can make a good day of it.

How far away are you? More than an hour and I wouldn't bother tbh. Only go with an open mind (and wallet!!) too - if you're looking for something specific you won't find it.

I was there this weekend. Its a bit of a treasure hunt sometimes but its a great day out with friends. Go and buy what suits your body shape and not because its a designer label.

I'm in Surrey, but it's easy enough to get the train from Marylebone. I might take myself there when DS is at Nursery. Shame the website doesn't have online shopping too, I actually prefer to buy online these days. Is it all Factory outlets or regular places too?
