It's not front fastening though, and you'd have to hoik it up a long way as it looks quite longConfused. So I'd say no.

vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:27

Thats what I was thinking.... I just want to look nice.
I love BF but after doing it for the last 6 years (4DCs close together) Im fed up of feeling like a frumpy feeding machine.
Hohum back to the drawing board.

No - for the reasons morag says

traceybath · 22/02/2011 21:30

I'd go for separates for discretion really - and know what you mean about the continual bf.

What type of budget/shape/size/etc are you?

moragbellingham · 22/02/2011 21:31

You scared me then with the 6 year comment, then I read on!

FortunateHamster · 22/02/2011 21:33

I would buy a wrap dress, then it's easy to hoik one out or undo :)

berri · 22/02/2011 21:35

Yes what make is that wrap dress that everyone raves about on here....jersey type material?

vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:37

Im a 12 (or maybe a 10 in Next) 5ft 6" DD cup boobs and pear shaped.
Im fed up of wrap dresses I feel frumpy in them Im 29 and like to feel I can still be trendy. Really dont want to spend more than £40 as losing weight and have loads of clothes that are too small Im dying to get back into.

isabella oliver

traceybath · 22/02/2011 21:37

DVF but thats £££ or Isabella Oliver.

vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:38

I thought Isabella Olivier was Maternity wear ?

OP posts:
traceybath · 22/02/2011 21:39

It is but also does a non-maternity range now.

TragicallyHip · 22/02/2011 21:43

It's a lovely dress but won't be easy to bf. How old is your LO? I take it you won't give a bottle.

NinkyNonker · 22/02/2011 21:44

I have a really lovely wrap dress that doesn't fit me any more (not a size 12 at the moment...sob), happy to take pics if you would be interested. Is kind of cream, with purple and green floral pattern, purple tie etc. Knee length, long sleeve. Is much nicer than it sounds! From Topshop.

Am BF at the mo too so know how you feel...only been going for 6 months though, not 6 years!

moragbellingham · 22/02/2011 21:47

any good? I wouldn't be phase about it being maternity wear as it's supposed to be "transitional".

vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:48

I would give her a bottle if she would take one, She's 7 months old and stubborn (not sure where she gets it from).
I might not have to feed her at all but I dont want to risk having to sit in the toilet if I wear something I cant feed in.
ninkynonker email me some pics at v_berresford @ yahoo dot co dot uk - thank you

NinkyNonker · 22/02/2011 21:50

No worries, DD asleep in the room at the mo so will prob be the morning. My DD won't take a bottle either damn bless her.

vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:51

morag dont you think this would empahsise that my boobs are big and belly not flat ? Im sure I was cool at some point. I think I might have given birth to it with DD1 as she is very stylish

OP posts:
vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:53

What about this 2
I could pull the strap down for access ?

OP posts:
vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:54

Maybe funk it up with black tights and heels ?

OP posts:
moragbellingham · 22/02/2011 21:55

You have a valid point there as I have to wear one of these with any dress now! Attractive no??

vicbar · 22/02/2011 21:58

But I cant even do that. Annoyingly I dont mind my figure its bigger than I want but I toned up after the last 3 this shouldnt be any different Its just the practicalities of feeding.
Worst case i have some tweedy shorts I wear over Black tights with heeled ankle boots, I feel trnedy and 'yong' in that Its not really a party outfit though.
The party is daytime if that changes things ?

OP posts:
TragicallyHip · 22/02/2011 22:01

That dress is lovely too. If you could pull the strap down then I think that would work fine!

vicbar · 22/02/2011 22:02

How would you wear it ? The parties during the day at a private function room. Luckily Iam known for being overdressed smart
