So what colour goes with coral?

Coral dress looks fabulous on and I'd like to wear it to sis's wedding in late April. Not sure what colour to go with for shoes and accessories. Fuscia? Purple? Or play safe and stay with nude. And what about a cardi / shrug/ wrap? Any ideas, please?

Was going to say navy until saw the dress and think nude would be very fresh and new rather than safe

bambiandthumper · 21/02/2011 22:01

I wear navy, nude and turquoise with coral, but I'd go with navy if your legs are pale, and nude if there anything but.

Lovely dress :o

bristolcities · 21/02/2011 22:01

The most important accessory with that dress..an amazing tan!

PlymouthSound · 21/02/2011 22:06

Ooh glad you like the dress - I love it! Hadn't thought of navy shoes, but I'm really warming to that idea. Thanks for your suggestions.

Light grey also works well with coral.

verytellytubby · 22/02/2011 08:45

Grey.

You need a deep St Tropez tan. Love the dress!

OsbegaEthewulf · 22/02/2011 08:49

khaki looks great with coral as does mid to light grey with bronzey accessories

As an aside, isn't the Monsoon website awful? Headless plastic dummies....

You'd think they could run to a live model or two.

takeonme · 23/02/2011 08:02

second khaki / olive or dark brown... lovely with coral

FluffyMummy123 · 23/02/2011 08:07

Why do they sell dresses that everyone needs a sodding cardigan with?

HettyAmaretti · 23/02/2011 08:14

If you happen to be a 42 (7 1/2, I think), these are beautiful and utterly bargainous.

Not so keen on the one you linked to.

bristolcities · 23/02/2011 15:00

Those shoes you linked to Plymouth are amazing, if i thought i could walk in them i would definitely but them. But you may be in risk of upstaging the bride with that fierce outfit!

bristolcities · 23/02/2011 15:00

BUY* duh

PlymouthSound · 23/02/2011 19:45

Nah, bristolcities, no chance of me upstaging the bride.

I'll leave that to my 6 year old who is flower girl Grin

surely teal? or am I just thinking that because my daughter is a Coral and has teal hair?

hugebelly · 23/02/2011 20:10

turquoise or navy

TigerseyeMum · 24/02/2011 10:29

Grey, nude, navy, khaki.

whoneedssleepanyway · 24/02/2011 10:46

the shoes you link to OP are fab, was going to suggest a goldy colour. My sister wore a dress that colour to my brother's wedding and she wore peep toe heels in brushed gold, they looked fab.

Hullygully · 24/02/2011 10:47

Bright yellow
