Any ideas where I can get some nice long brown boots considering my calf measurement is 43cm? I've looked at duo but they're so expensive?!!

I have wide calfs and love duo, if you can stretch to it they are worth the investment, I've got 3 pairs. The ones that I wear pretty much all the time in rubbsih weather are on their 3rd winter and still look great. Other 2 pairs are lasting brilliant too.....unfortunately I've not been able to find any wide calf boots that fit my fat legs else where but mine are loads bigger than yours at a monsterous 48cm!!!

Have you tried clarks? I know that they do some of their boots in a wider fitting? Sale on boots at the moment too!

The size of the wide calf boots from clarks can vary hugely. I buy wide calf boots from there and tend to find the ones labelled "D" fit are not as wide in the calf as the ones that have an "E" fitting. Also, the ones that are made by clarks that I have tried on have not been as wide as the Kays ones that they also sell. I bought the skiw boots that are on sale at the moment though and absolutely love them. THey are my third pair of boots from clarks. I think their boots are pretty good quality and last well.
