Velvet boots

I really want some velvet boots - maybe purple or red (age creeping up on me) with heels I can walk in and not feel too tall at 5'9". I know it makes me sound like a fading rock chick (I wish) but I do have a plan...

If they make you feel glamorous, gorgeous and generally wonderful - you go girl. Don't know about you but anything that makes me feel even an inch towards that is worth having...
I'd probably go for a softer berry colour - raspberry or blueberry rather than something brighter but I'm an old baggage.....

I love glamourous boots, I had a gorgoeus pair of burgandy/ red satin boots, from Hobbs I think. They were featured on What not to Wear one week and I felt fab as I had bought them ages ago. An old flatmate pinched them though.

I've got some velvet boots, had them years but they're often pulled out of cupboard for nights out, a great thing to own!
