Spring coat

Hello. Has anyone seen a nice coat anywhere that I could get for the end of winter/spring. I'm looking for something which is longer than a jacket, that could be worn for smart and relatively casual. I work in London 2 days a week so would like it to look ok for work but also ok on my country village school run.

Any ideas? I quite liked the boden sixties coat in navy but would prefer something slightly less... well slightly less boden I guess.

Marking my place, I need a new spring coat as well, my additional requirement is that I need to be able to wear it again next year so not too "on trend".

I spotted this the other day - didn't try it on but I'll prob go back and do so - looked nice I thought.

I think I have a gap for a spring coat, I was thinking something along the lines of a classic trench.

What about a short trench, looks much less formal than a classic version like this?

I do like the Mint Velvet one- just knew it would be grey!,,

Thanks, don't really fancy a trench though, too "city" for where I live and when I buy them I dream of looking french and chic and always seem to look crap.

Any more ideas? More coat that mac I think.

Love the jigsaw one, will try to find it in the shop near to work. Tricky to decide which colour though!
