So, if I buy Falke Merino Wool Tights, do I really have to handwash them?

The thought of hand washing tights just makes me want to sob.

Is it a waste of money buying posh tights if I then put them on the wool cycle of the washing machine?????

No. mine go in the machine- and not always on wool cycle. They are v resilient IMO and worth the extra cash.

I out mine in the hand wash wool cycle of the machine.

I wash Falke wool tights and socks in the washing machine with everything else - but I wash everything on a 30 degree gentle cycle.

Well I have some and didn't know until now that you're meant to hand washing. Been merrily machine washing with other things (30 degree cycle) for last year and will continue to do so!

There was a thread on here recently about nice tights and loads of people rated the M&S Merino/Velvet ones.

I've heard they're as good as the expensive brands (no first-hand experience, have bought some but currently pregnant so can't wear them).

Might be worth trying the M&S ones first?
