is this bag very obviously not leather?

ummm, i'd want to see it to see whether it feels ok. Sometimes PU can feel really plastic...

That's true Mme Cholet, it's not going to have that soft buttery scrumptious feel, but I can possibly live without it for a work bag. All the bags I take to school tend to get trashed with felt pens etc quite readily.

As soon as I saw your title I knew you were talking about this bag!!! I do too much internet shopping, its shameful!!!

Its not leather, whether it looks not leather, if you know what I mean, who knows, you'll just have to buy it and see!

To be fair it says in the description "you'd never guess its not leather" so you might just find its a brilliant substitue for work-trashing.

Go for it, gotta love the price and how nice it looks for the price. I quite like the colour.

I looked at this bag in debenhams today, as I'd seen it on the Internet and it said "you would not know it wasn't leather", well i have to say it looked and felt synthetic to me, so was not prepare to pay £59 for it.

Personlly, I think you can always tell. Plus it won't last as long...better to spend £59 towards a leather bag imo :)
