I haven't been impressed previously but just tried this, and will not be doing brazilian blow dry thing again - £6.99 and fab!

Please explain more grumpypants - what is it ? Sounds promising, this in combination with my babyliss big hair could be hair heaven?

bigTillyMint · 18/02/2011 20:06

What is it? Like FrizzEase?

chocolatespiders · 18/02/2011 21:29

It is £6.99 in boots or 2 for £7.50-- bargain

chocolatespiders · 18/02/2011 21:30

I says that it is a semi permanent straight styling spray- this is from the website

Transform curly, frizzy hair into a straight, smooth style that lasts up to 3 days.*
Designed to work with your hair straighteners, this weightless spray with heat protection blocks out frizz as you straighten. A revolutionary blend of polymers with keratin protein wraps each strand, sealing in straight style for up to 3 days.* Keeps hair glossy, smooth and swinging with body.
Safe for colour-treated and chemically-treated hair.
*Or until your next shampoo if less than 3 days.

BitOfFun · 18/02/2011 21:34

The brazilian blowdry lasts weeks though, doesn't it?

grumpypants · 19/02/2011 09:51

Yes, but i am not happy with the way it has left my hair - had it done October and my hair now feels a bit like Barbie hair iyswim? Pink - I used it after washing my hair and before blow drying and straightening. Next day, I just needed a quick touch up with the straighteners, and it just seems to be good. Am always after the holy grail of non fluffy hair, so wanted to share!

do you think it would work with the babyliss big hair or would you need to use straighteners?

Is it one treatment for £6.99?

ruddynorah · 19/02/2011 10:04

i don't get it. i straighten mine with a round brush then quick ghd. it lasts 3 days. i mean, until i wash it on the 3rd day. it's glossy cos i use moroccan oil.

CameronCook · 19/02/2011 10:29

But but but that means 3 days without washing your hair - mine would be stinky and plastered to my head [jealous daily hair washwer emoticon]

vjg13 · 19/02/2011 10:29

Boots has run out. Does anyone know where you can get it?

chocolatespiders · 19/02/2011 11:33

Have you tried superdrug?

I wash my hair everyday. I got it more for dd hoping this may stop her from using her straighteners so much and she washes her hair every 3 days

chocolatespiders · 19/02/2011 11:35

I posted on wednesday night about the offer in boots so maybe it cause a stampede Shock

Or maybe it is the company holding back supplies to create a must have desire by people because it is sold out!!

grumpypants · 19/02/2011 12:37

try superdrug or boots on line? or a smaller village type boots? I might try moroccon oli as well...

upahill · 19/02/2011 12:56

I got some the other week and I don't rate it.

grumpypants · 19/02/2011 13:13

I am easily pleased Grin

Will it last longer than 3 days? My hair only starts to look ok by the 3 day mark

grumpypants · 19/02/2011 13:20

Maybe - worth a shot for the price? Just did dd's hair in a bid to keep her away from product and heat overload!

OP posts:
bristolcities · 19/02/2011 13:27

I'v just bought some from Superdrug, think it might be perfect for my hair because it frizzes with even the slightest hint of damp or humidity. said guess you could just damp your hair and restraighten?

said · 19/02/2011 15:47

Might try (house is full of other useless stuff so am sure one more mistaken purchase won't matter) Thing is, I don't particularly want straight hair, just not frizzy. So, wavy would be fine as long as not frizzy.

bristolcities · 19/02/2011 16:07

Ditto said and have not quite mastered the wave using straighteners.

chocolatespiders · 20/02/2011 13:36

DD just used it on her hair, she has curly frizzy hair after drying it was quite straight but the product does say to use straighteners to seal the prouduct in so i did that bit for her and it is very straight and no frizz... Lets see if it lasts>>>> hoping this is the product she has been searching for!!!!! trip back to boots me thinks, i did check yesterday and there was some left Smile

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 20/02/2011 22:24

So now in pursuit of straight, unfrizzy hair I need to buy a BBH, Morrocan oil and this Frizz-Ease stuff??!!

Can I have a link to the Morrocan oil please? Blush

grumpypants · 21/02/2011 08:53

www.amazon.co.uk/Moroccanoil-moroil-100ml/dp/B001AO0WCG I think this is the original one.

Ok, I have used this on my hair and so far so good. It has withstood the humidity of the bathroom - gave my little one his bath - and no frizz. Now the test is how long it lasts. Also want to see how it works with my babyliss big hair. I will wash my hair on Thursday and style with the babyliss. Fingers crossed. Btw, have just been out in the rain and no frizz. Cool..
