Pale soft lilac, or pale grey?

Jen1209 · 16/10/2005 16:35

How about cream or even a minty colour (no really, it does work!)

TinyGang · 16/10/2005 16:39

Yes, I was thinky a minty colour too.

sadoscar · 16/10/2005 16:39

Definately cream!

3PRINCESSES · 16/10/2005 16:41

Oh dear, I was going to suggest red pepper.

But now I'm here... think you've got it spot on with dusky pink or black.

Lmccrean · 16/10/2005 16:56

oh, never though of cream... and i just bought a minty green top in dunnes stores the other day (along with a dusky pink one)..so will try them on together tonight.

any good (reasonably priced) shoe shops online? And if I buy black boots (that i think will go with the aubergine skirt) will they go with the cream/mint/pink tops?

Im 21 and still no clue on shopping

3PRINCESSES Lol

I am not the only foodie on here then, I was desperately trying to remember the recipe for Baba Ganoush

3PRINCESSES · 16/10/2005 17:07

If you remember it let me know!

Sophie Grigson had a lovely one with aubergine and halloumi in something I was reading recently...

laligo · 16/10/2005 17:15

i think aubergine nice with burnt orange for an autumnal look (visual not foodie!)

good orange tops in h&m for a few quid.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 16/10/2005 18:03

3PRINCESSES This one is divine

Baba Ganoush

2 small aubergines
I garlic clove crushed
4 tbsp of tahini
¼ cup of ground almonds
juice of ½ a lemon
½ tsp of ground cumin
2 tbsp of fresh mint leaves
2 tbsp of olive iol
salt and ground black pepper.

For the flat breads

4 Pitta breads
3 tbsp of sesame seeds
3 tbsp of fresh thyme
3 tbsp of poppy seeds
¼ pint of olive oil

Start by making the flat bread

Split the pitta breads through the middle with a knife and carefully open them out.
Mix the dry ingredients in a mortar. Work them lightly with a pestle to release the flavour.
Stir in the olive oil .
Spread the mixture over the cut sides of the pitta.
Grill until golden brown and crisp
When cool break into pieces.

Bright red works pretty well in my opinion..and a soft grey.

teeavee · 16/10/2005 20:54

I would go for the autumnal burnt orange, or brown, esp. if you have brown hair yourse;f

cream? boring!

JoolsToo · 16/10/2005 20:55

green

hermykne · 17/10/2005 12:49
