So cool.take ages to do so you have to be patient but no make up on at all and I look ok!I had a full set of natural looking ones long but not footballers wife-y.

I can't believe no one was fascinated by my new eyelashes Grin

Hi noddyholder, I'll be pleased for you about your lashes!

They are quite wonderful, aren't they... A few friends of mine have them on all the time - just get them maintained once a fortnight or whatever.

I've only ever had them put on to go on holiday but I'd be seriously tempted to have them all the time if I could afford it.

Same with gel nails... My nails are diabolical so I have gel nails done (clear or "Rouge Noir") fir holiday and Christmas and I absolutely love it.

I'd be brilliant at being a High Maintenance Woman!

Enjoy your lashes.

Haha! Morning Noddy!

Love, love, love semi-permanent lashes!

I don't have them on all of the time (too expensive!) but they make a hell of a difference, don't they!

noddyholder · 20/02/2011 09:20

Thank you! I am amazed that I look vaguely the same now in the morning as when I go to bed!Its a miracle although the maintenance will prob mean I can't have them all the time but am enjoying them for now!

Enjoy, Noddy! I was most upset when they started to come off Sad. I felt like I had piggy eyes.

cyrilsneer · 20/02/2011 11:00

Did you have j-shaped lashes or c-shaped?

noddyholder · 20/02/2011 11:05

I don't know! Upper lashes only and a full set They just look like my own same shape etc

The girl who did them had a special offer of £50 for a full set. They are so good you don't need to wear mascara at all.I think the maintenance if you keep them all teh time is every 3 weeks.

Ooh I'm glad to hear this as I'm having some done in March before two consecutive weekends away. A lady I know has recently trained and is doing them for £35 in March - so it seemed rude not to!

whysolate · 20/02/2011 11:45

Wow Noddy, mine are £35 for a full set. I have my own tinted before I get the semi permanent ones put on, it adds to the effect. They are great but it does feel strange not having to put mascara on.

noddyholder · 20/02/2011 11:51

I think £50 for these was ok.They last for ages.I didn't tint before as the glue is black and so i think its enough as it is.I do like them agree it is weird no wearing mascara but love looking the same all day and no smudging esp as you get older and it settles in any creases These give a really awake look shame they don't last forever

I heard they're usually £65-70 here so £50 not at all bad. My £35 is only in March then £65 after that.

noddyholder · 20/02/2011 12:02

They are really worth every penny!

Has anyone got any tips for geting them done in London? I've heard good things avout somewhere in Shoreditch but they charge £85! I want them done so don't have to faff with mascara on holiday.

catinboots · 20/02/2011 19:49

ooh I'm jealous. I'm getting permanent eyeline next saturday and when that's healed I plan on getting eyelash extensions
