I must admit I have started looking at Per Una stuff now if in M&S just so I can imagine what would be said on here about it all!

And doing that last October I actually bought something! A grey and teal striped jersey waterfall cardi thing. So a waterfall cardi and Per Una! Shameful. But whenever I wear the cardi I get loads of compliments on it and told it is very flattering. So I assume it makes me look a bit less like the back end of a bus then some things I wear!

Cod - that coat doesn't look too bad. But. The sleeves! 3/4 length sleeves. In a COAT. WHY??? Ridiculous. Catch your death! Grin

I like some of the Autograph stuff but I think they let a Per Una person in there a while ago. Some of the stuff I saw last time I was home was a bit suspect!

YoginiBikini · 17/02/2011 17:23

Loving the coat but would be reminded of mmelindt and her giant aubergine image every time I wore it

JamieLeeCurtis · 17/02/2011 17:27

My mum buys Per Una. I love her dearly (and she's a hot mama at nearly 70), but if I see her in one more round-necked, boxy embellished cardi I shall have to say something ...

JamieLeeCurtis · 17/02/2011 17:29

DonaAna · 17/02/2011 17:59

cyb · 17/02/2011 18:00

icod you and I are AS one =I spotted that as I trundled down the escalator.

I love walking through Marks- I NEVER feel more trendy

FluffyMummy123 · 17/02/2011 18:26

The purple one?

BelligerentGhoul · 17/02/2011 18:33

Noddy - of which dress do you speak? I am a funny big norked skinny legged one.

I tried the bird print one on that I linked to on a thread a few weeks ago and it was HIDEOUS - clingy and vile even when I sized up a size flipping 14!!!

FluffyMummy123 · 17/02/2011 19:23

Warehouse print kimono

FellatioNelson · 17/02/2011 19:34

Ninety five pounds?

BelligerentGhoul · 17/02/2011 19:53

95 quid for Warehouse? Blimey! Where is it? I can't see it on the site.

KristinaM · 17/02/2011 20:31

I have to admit that i have that per una jacket from two years ago in yellow green. It's better quality fabric and i suspect it's called chartreuse. It has been much admired ( preens). Sales assistants in Hobbs think it's theirs.I lied.

I don't admit it's from per una though

noddyholder · 17/02/2011 20:48

this

BelligerentGhoul · 17/02/2011 20:52

Ta - nope, that would look hideous on me. Glad it suits you though - it's nice.

Warehouse used to be really good for dresses but I don't like much on there at the mo.

aLegonEachCorner · 18/02/2011 10:28

I'm amazed it sells....

I walked through our local store last week and it looked like the heap of tat that used to be piled high on the "Rag and Boneman's" horse drawn cart circa 1968.

Frills, flounces, shocking garish colours, bits of leopard print, batwings, gypsy-stylee long skirts. The whole darned lot needs a torch throwing at it.

And breathe....

polyhymnia · 18/02/2011 10:55

Yes, our local one (though in an affluent Londonn suburb) looks like that. The Marble Arch one looks a bit better - particularly if you avoid Per Una and Portfolio.

BecauseItoldYouSo · 18/02/2011 11:01

I think all Per Una stuff is hideous. Don't know how the people who designs the stuff thinks that it is anything but.
