Babyliss big hair product??

Ok, I know there have been thread after thread about this miracle gadget. I love mine and have now decided the time has come to enter the world of product. Can you help? I have long fine, wavy hair, which goes ratty quite easily, and greasy. Product recommendations please, which will give me a bit of natural hold and root lift, but no extra grease.

Thanks. Well I bought a trial size of a John Frieda root boost thing which I liked because it is a liquid not a mousse, and because my DM likes his products! Will report on it!
