Help, help, help PLEASE!

Going to a launch night of a nightclub at a very well known venue.

Ticket says nightclub/partywear is a must as it's an L.A / Vegas style place.

I'm mid 30's & size 20.

Is this dress & these shoes acceptable or am I waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy off the mark?? Or are jeans, peeptoe boots & chiffon top more suitable?

(With thick black tights!)

I'm not sure about the shoes. They are nice but not really partywear or glam. I'd be tempted to go for something I could not walk in a bit more high heeled. Maybe not these in particular but more this style

I do like the dress but I don't love it. I'm not too keen on the way it is chiffon sticks out at the boobs. But you would have to try in on. The other thing is the neckline is a bit high, maybe something a bit lower as I think the lack of clevage would divert attention to your arms, which (i speak generally, you may have lovely arms, but I have not) are not always a ladies best feature.

I have ordered all the other dresses apart from the purple one (Not good with my thunder-thighs!)

The problem I have with footwear is the width - I am a G & struggle to get my feet in them, let alone being able to walk in them.

I do have a pair of high peep-toe boots already very similar to the ones you kindly pointed out thankyou but can I get away with wearing these with solid thick black tights?!

I need tights - I wouldn't dream of showing my bare-naked calves to anyone!

The tights thing, i am quite amazed at the amount of peep toed things on sale during the winter, really who wants to not wear tights or socks with shoes, its mad !

I would either get footless tights or cut a wee hole in the toe of my tights and paint my big toenail red so that you still get the peep toe effect.

have you looked on asos.com at the curve range, plenty of trendier more going out dresses on there, and for clubbing go with the glammest heels you can find. simply be do lots of heels, or new look do a wide fit as well and for one night only who cares if they are cheap.
