I am thinking of taking advantage of ripping out my fitted lounge cupboards (when I have central heating fitted) and buying new (or old) lounge furniture.

I currently have
a chest of draws (1930's dark wood) fits nicely would like to keep
a bureau (1940's utility dark wood) again I like it
a glass fronted cupboard (1930's) not getting rid heirloom

a dark wood dresser (bottem arts & craftsish - top ercol, bad match) might keep bottem got to loose top

a pine painted grey kitchen cupboard collection with shelving above - which the tv,video, sky box, sterio, and all associated crap sit on GOT TO GO!!!!

Help - where the H*ll do I go with this?

what about painitng the walls a differnet colour?. My house is really boring all cream apart from the bedroom which is shocking red with red carpet as well. (the house was orange, yellow and more yellow and blue)

No - I like the grey so much I'm going to paint the hall stairs & landing in it

I just need new storage

I have a lovely red rug, and a wood burner

I just hate the grey cupboard/shelving thing and I think I hate the dresser
