Jeggins (or should it be *jeggings*?)

Where are yours from? How much were they? & do you love them?

I'm after some better fitting skinny jeans but can't find any that fit me right. They're always huge on the waist (am only an 8 to start with but have v. v. tiny waist) & they kind of bag around my knees.

I'm hoping that investing in some jeggin(g?)s might solve this problem & be a bit tighter fitting

Any thoughts?

I love the ones I got from Next. They're the ones that are made from proper denim, so they look like real jeans but without the zip/buttons and they don't 'blouson'(sp?) over the top of my boots like even skinny jeans seem to.

I think they cost somewhere between £15 and £20.

I don't love the cheap ones I have that are just leggings in a denim colour with jeans type seams. Although comfy they're not as flattering as the proper jeggings.

I'll have a look in Next tomorrow, the cheapest ones I've seen were £13 in New Look, haven't seen any cheap cheap ones anywhere but am not a fan of leggings anyway so will steer clear of those

I love my Next ones too (and I am not normally a lover of Next)

LadyBiscuit · 16/02/2011 11:14

I got some from Florence & Fred in Tesco and they are really good. Think they were £12

annieapple2 · 16/02/2011 11:39

Primark £8 or £10 I think. I live in them as wash and dry so easy and fit really well. Grin

Uniqlo are fab for jeggings. I have the waist problem too.

It's definitely jeggings with a "g".

catinboots · 16/02/2011 13:35

M and S - real denim too.

Verso · 16/02/2011 14:44

Uniqlo and they're brilliant!

I bought some from next today, they don't have them online. I fell in love with them in the changing room, i was able to down size so they are tight fitting on the legs. Due to IBS i need that elastic waist band, can't wait to wear them.

I did buy the new look ones a couple of weeks ago, the legs aren't as tight fitting as i would have liked and they tend to go baggy during the day, i'm certain a smaller size wouldn't have fitted in the waist, you can tell the quality is better just from looking at the next ones, i hope they don't bag.

H and M do great ones and the sizes are good, im currently wearing some Topshop ones. The only ones i try to avoid are those dark almost two tone ones, horrible.

lucysmam · 17/02/2011 08:43

Well, I didn't get round to any shopping yesterday so will have a look in Next, H&M and Topshop today while I nip into town to the market. Will check out Primark as well, if I can get what I'm after & save some cash as well I'll be very happy!

Thanks for all the recommendations Smile

I got great ones in Peacocks. I have really skinny legs and can never get any fitted enough, these are great

lucysmam · 17/02/2011 15:52

I don't suppose anyone does a 28" leg? I tried a couple of pairs on today but gave up when they were super long on the legs. Thanks Smile

Got some in Tesco-cost about £12. They're grey. Find that most jeggings fall down on me if I can get them on and need to sew up the crack to stay up.

miche8 · 17/02/2011 19:04

Reporting back on my next jeggings have worn them all day, very comfy for driving, they did wrinkle at the knees a little but didn't bag, very pleased, glad i got a size smaller than i take in normal next jeans.
