Help, what age is Johnnie B size XS for?

I'm just ordering some things for ds1, who takes an age 8-10 sort of size, but haven't got a clue what age the stuff in JohnnieB is for - they have things left in XS and I guess it'll keep for him, but does anyone know what size child it will fit, please?

Thankyou!

I bought xs for my daughter when she was 11, she is as skinny as a beanpole and couldn't get the dress over her head. Will wait and see what other replies you get. Smile

Blimey. Yikes! that's tiny!

Mind you ds is only 7 and despite being broad of girth (as it were) he isn't very tall.

I can't get my head around the metric measurements tab. I have no idea how many centimetres it is round his middle and tbh would rather not...

Thanks, Fimbo. Smile

I bought XS for my 11 year old, who's thin but average height.

Jeepers I have just looked at the sizing chart - not much help there really. From my reckoning my dd should be a xs as she has no chest at all, not even a hint of one. The dress she had was a full skirt thing with a a cross over back but she just couldn't get it on.

Mmmm have just looked at another dress she might like that they have in stock, but according to the sizing chart should fit a 16yr old. Don't know if it is worth the risk of the p & p charges and returns for £9.50.

Hope someone can come along to help you with boy sizing shortly.

IngridBergmann · 15/02/2011 14:36

thanks, guys...I figured the chart might not be of use!

Have ordered some stuff because it's cheap and looks nice, so will have to wait and see if it turns up. It's all sale bits anyway x

Try code A826 - it might give you 15% off and free delivery & returns (was emailed to me today but they didn't actually give a code - I went though to the site for you as I am NOT shopping!)

Ooh thanks! Bit late for me, but I'm sure others will use it. Does it work on sale stuff then? Smile

Oh bum! Never mind.

I buy it for my 9 year old boy. He is pretty average height, maybe a bit taller than peers, but he is slim. The T shirts are cut quite slim, I think. My girl who is 13 but 5'5 and slim wears a medium or even large for the closer fitting things.
Generally, they are sort of long and thin clothes. We bought her a hoodie and it really didn't work, but everything else has been great.

I buy xs for my skinny 10 yo DD who is about 140cm

KristinaM · 15/02/2011 15:02

Btw I think exchange orders are free of p and p

Fimbo · 15/02/2011 15:51

Well I have now bought the dress for dd from the sale section. They had a small in stock, but this one is more like t-shirt material so hopefully should fit. I used Pandsbear code the A826 and got free p & p, and returns. So £9.50 well spent. Thank you.

Excellent Fimbo - glad it worked for you! Grin

I buy S for DD who is nearly 11 and quite "bosomy". Average height and build elsewhere.
