Do I need this dress?

Have spotted this on ebay. I loved it when it was current stock but I couldn't justify buying it. However I have a fairly casual wedding at the beginning of June which it work for, without being so dressy that I wouldn't wear it again (I'm thinking that it would also be good for summer lunches with friends, Sunday lunches out with the inlaws etc).

DH says I don't need it and shouldn't buy from ebay as returns are trickier.

Devil on my shoulder says "buy!"

WWYD?

Are you sure it'll fit? Then buyyyyy

JemimaMop · 15/02/2011 13:36

I have quite a lot of Boden in that shape, so am hoping that their sizes are fairly consistent.

Imagine you have it already. Then imagine someone offering you a £50 note for it...

44 is alot for a second hand dress on ebay.

mistressploppy · 15/02/2011 13:40

It's new though... how much was it originally, OP?

Lizzylou · 15/02/2011 13:41

I like it, it isn't second hand, is it, it's new?
How much was it originally?

JemimaMop · 15/02/2011 13:41

According to the ^listing it is BNWOT so not second hand.

I think I want the dress more than the £50 note. But I can still hear DH worrying about returns if it doesn't look right.

I think it was about £79

X-posts! Must type faster Grin

mistressploppy · 15/02/2011 13:48

You could always sell it on ebay if you don't like it Grin

Lizzylou · 15/02/2011 13:49

Mistressploppy is right (again!), if it's not right for you sell it on Ebay. I bet in April it'll fetch more money anyway.

JemimaMop · 15/02/2011 13:54

OK, have bought it (but not that one, I didn't link to the one in my size just in case someone else spotted it and snapped it up before I decided!)

Thanks for helping me decide, I'll blame you all if DH objects Grin
