Ok - what are the best products to use:

a) for volume??

b) for shine??

I am personally using Tresemme 24hr body spray. It's okay but my hair still isn't big enough Grin

I also just got a sample of moroccan oil. It has made my hair very silky.

Looks like it's just me and you Carrie! I've tried various mousses but I find they make my hair look sort if clumpy.

Has anyone tried the Bumble and Bumble thickening spray??

I'm using moroccan oil for shine and John Frieda volumising mousse for volume.
Just a bit of mousse at the roots, and morrocan oil around the rest. If I use the mousse all over it gets very dry, so just at the roots for me.

I dont use any products

I can use on dry hair and its still lovely and full of body (You probably dont want to hear that)

Mouse too sticky, non?

Lao - which morrocan oil product do you use?? I've got the standard oil but there's loads on the website

this The original.
Are the others any different? If only it gave body too :o

What about John Frieda 3 Day Straight?

bettybattleaxe · 14/02/2011 22:44

Bumble & Bumble thickening spray is a bit sticky and then crunchy when dry.
Prep would be better for some added sleekness.

I'm afraid I don't need anything for volume as have plenty of that already (sorry) but I do use a heat protection cream - I use one by L'Oreal Professionel (Tecnic).

brimfull · 15/02/2011 08:49

ojon stuff works really well for me
bit ££ tho

PukeyMummy · 15/02/2011 09:17

Sorry, not L'Oreal Tecnic - it's Tecni.Art.

Also £££ but came recommended by two separate hairdressers and seems to work.

And a little bit of Moroccan Oil to finish - just used it for the first time!

I have quite curly hair, what should I use to tame the frizz?
