help me find some decent night-wear

it's the bane of my life...I can't do straps - my shoulders get cold - I need sleeves. I like something nightie/night shirt like - coming to mid thigh. but would like something that doesn't look like a baggie t-shirt belonging to dh. (although, from the practicality/comfort pov dh's t-shirts are perfect.) can you get vaguely sexy-sttractive with sleeves? (short sleeves btw)

not that sexy though?

JackieNo · 13/02/2011 20:17

White company?

madammecholet · 13/02/2011 20:17

MrsSeanBean · 13/02/2011 20:36

I have the first one that JaackieNo linked to and it's very nice / warm - dare I say not bad looking either.

JackieNo · 13/02/2011 20:36

Foxinsocks · 13/02/2011 20:39

It's mine too hat.

Eventually I went to John Lewis - got a lovely non frumpy nightie with sleeves made from the most beautiful soft cotton.

SwearyMary · 13/02/2011 20:40

I like the ones made by Floozie for debenhams.

(for some reason that link doesn't go straight to nightdresses, though Hmm)

JackieNo · 13/02/2011 20:49

I'm afraid I usually end up in something like \link{http://www.landsend.co.uk/ix/womens-clothing/women/sleepwear-and-slippers/night-dresses/index.html?seq=1~2~3~4&catNumbers=1~23~64&visible=1~2~1~1&store=le&sort=Recommended&pageSize=12&tab=2\these} Blush

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 22:01

I like the ones that look like men's shirts with the sleeves rolled up. Gap, M&S and the White Company all do them.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 13/02/2011 22:04

Designers at Debenhams is very good. Saw me through all the post birth visits!

hatwoman · 13/02/2011 22:32

thanks all - some nice ones here. I have one nice one which is a bodas night shirt but it would be nice to have two decent pieces of night wear. will look in more detail when I've done the ironing. (sunday evenings ay)

hatwoman · 13/02/2011 22:44

yep like the CK ones at Figleaves. though dh prefers some of the other figleaves stuff. he cares not for my chilly shoulders.

OP posts:
hatwoman · 13/02/2011 22:57

it's weird...there are quite a few pyjamas where the top has sleeves and a bit of lace or nice trim or a nice shape, but there are very very few night dresses like that
