I have really curly/frizzy hair (pic on profile but my hair was wet...when it dries it doubles in size and if a puff ball!)

When my hair is slightly greasy, the curls are fabulous!

Will it work on my hair? or just make it frizzy AND greasy?!

ARGH!

TIA

I want to know about this stuff as well. I heard someone say it was better than FrizzEase, which I do use, but I have to go easy with it as it can make my hair lank and greasy after one day. Is MO lighter? My hair is only slightly curly but is fine and flyaway and doesn't behave at all well in damp air.

MayorNaze · 13/02/2011 11:03

also curious

i dally with frizzease but is more of a placebo really, not entirely convinced it does anything Confused

ruddynorah · 13/02/2011 11:08

I have thick long curly hair. Moroccan oil is the best thing I have ever used. Just get some.

saltyseadog · 13/02/2011 11:10

I have long thick wavy hair - MO is a godsend.

MayorNaze · 13/02/2011 11:14

sooooo IF i get some, will i need to use other stuff or will my hair just go right, as it were? is currently short layered bob, wavy/very wavy/curly depending on the day and the weather Confused

ruddynorah · 13/02/2011 11:16

I have previously tried frizz ease. MO is not like serum. It actually works for a start. Glossy silky soft hair. Curly or straight. Awesome. People are amazed when I tell them what I use.

ruddynorah · 13/02/2011 11:17

I don't use other stuff. The curls are held softly. If straight it just swishes nicely. No need for anything else.

frazzledblob · 13/02/2011 11:24

If you want a cheaper alternative to try first just get some argan oil. I got mine from amazon, £10 for 100ml.

It is fantastic stuff. I am using it on my hair and skin.

Hair wise I have shoulder length thick frizzy layers & the combination of the oil and Babyliss Big Hair has made me very happy (thanks MN Smile )

On my face I use it as a moisturiser after doing the oil cleansing method and my skin has improved significantly. I have also used it on some small post op scars and saw a difference straight away.

FellatioNelson · 13/02/2011 11:36

No, no I certainly don't want cheap alternatives. If something is outrageously expensive and eveyone is raving over it, then I want that and not some flimsy imposter. Right then. Where do I buy this miracle elixir?

fuzzywuzzy · 13/02/2011 11:43

morrocan oil is argan oil tho. I think Morroccan oil is the brand name.

HonestyBox · 13/02/2011 11:48

Moroccan Oil is a mix of silicones like in Frizz Ease, and Argan oil. It is great imo, but I'm interested to try the pure argan oil.

FellatioNelson · 13/02/2011 11:49

I like fancy shmancy brands.

frazzledblob · 13/02/2011 11:50

yes argan oil is the pure oil that is in mo.
its not a cheap alternative Grin and I'm sure I read on here that other stuff is added to the mo

faustina · 13/02/2011 11:57

I used to use frizzease. Been using MO for a couple of weeks - it's a million times better. not so plasticky a finish. My hair is exactly like that woman off last tango in paris when i don't straighten it - (and that's not a look I am aiming for). It's also highlighted blonde. With MO before straightening, it is even curlier and less frizzy - after GHDs, it's just exactly how I want it to be, which it never really was with frizzease.

ruddynorah · 13/02/2011 17:39

you can get the elixir online but i actually get mine from supercuts in our shopping centre. crappy hairdressing reputation but sells all the top brand products including Moroccan Oil.

olive07 · 13/02/2011 18:23

for fine hair get the moroccan oil light version - is amazing,I have very fine hair.
come with pump and smells devine...

lookfantastic.com have it with free p & p and a free sample size bottle at the moment.

Tillyscoutsmum · 13/02/2011 18:26

I've used Moroccan oil and Argan oil and the unfortunately, the more expensive one is better on my hair. It lasts for ages though because I only need a teeny amount, otherwise my head is a grease ball. The shampoo & conditioner is great as well

MilkNoSugarPlease · 15/02/2011 07:02

Oh, I so have to buy some now!!

Come on payday hurry up!!!
