laosvher · 12/02/2011 20:37

Whoops, meant 'all different brands'

Isabella Oliver. Pricey but lovely. No link - am on my phone!

Sillyness · 12/02/2011 20:39

depends on your style, but im a fan of jojo maman bebe.

Eglu · 12/02/2011 20:41

I second JoJo Maman Bebe and also H&M. But really most maternity stuff looks crap on.

pirateparty · 12/02/2011 20:41

H&M, Boden, Mamas and Papas, Gap and M&S. Apparently Isabella Oliver nice too but have not had anything from there. V expensive for maternity clothes you only wear for a few months.

But this is a massive gap in the market IMO.

MrsShrekTheThird · 12/02/2011 20:44

I got most of mine from H&M, Jojomamanbebe and Blooming marvellous. (I've got a few tops still around i think, one lovely rose pink "going outy" one - if you'd like them for postage?)

bishboschone · 12/02/2011 20:46

Thanks.. I have bought a dress from asos and a few bits from h and m but it's just so bland.. I am usually a jeans type person with nice tops but it's all crap :( .. There seems to be a gap for some stylish reasonable stuff.. I went in new look today and was surprised to see slogan t shirts with big mama and all that crap on.. I mean , who wears that crap??!!:(

I've been struggling too - everything is black, or grey or navy. Where is the colour!

I ended up getting bits from New Look and H&M, but it's the best of a bad job tbh

MrsShrekTheThird · 12/02/2011 20:47

ohh, I just remembered - take a look at red herring

bishboschone · 12/02/2011 20:48

Thanks shrek that's very kind of you .. Can I send you an envelope or something?

The other thing I did was buy tops from the tall section at usual stores (topshop et al) and they covered the bump as were longer.

thell · 12/02/2011 20:57

I got some nice things when I was preg six years ago - not the same choice at the moment. 'Tis pants.

Eglu · 12/02/2011 21:10

Should have sadi that this time round I have got lots of some maternity leggings and bought tunic type tops and knitted jumper dresses that aren't maternity. I got some lovely long tops from Zara.

Mamas and papas - online and they have v.good sales. H&M good for some things but not great quality IMO.

Next wasn't too bad and Marks and Spencer were quite good too, you have to go to a really big store to find the whole range, or online.

Jo jo maman for their wrap tops - and they are really comfortable towards the end. Good luck!
