Flat shoes I can walk in (and nice with skirts)?

Is the Holy Grail of footwear for me - I need something for when have to ditch the boots.

Ideally, something that looks nice with anything from jeans to palazzo pants to midi skirts. Was wondering about Converse plimsolls?

But any other ideas v gratefully received! Just need to be comfortable enough to cover several miles on the nursery run.

Converse with skirts are difficult unless you have very good legs cause they cut you off at the ankle. I wear leather ballerinas or sandals in summer

Very true. I'd go for ballet flats as well.

People on here keep saying that ballet flats make one's arse look gigantic

StarlightPrincess · 12/02/2011 17:34

Don't listen to them! No shoes can make your arse look gigantic unless it is gigantic Grin

I wonder if a ladylike loafer might be the ticket?

Just a straightforward ballerine type. This sort of thing.

I don't think many people suit plimsolls with skirts. I'd go for something for more feminie, especially if you have a huge arse Wink
