What's a good one?
Am quite pale and pink, my current tester makes me look like an oompa loompa with minimal usage.
Please and thank you :)

I think the Boots No.7 one would suit you, it's called Dual Protection.

AintMissBeehiving · 12/02/2011 07:25

Olay Total Effects is very good.

esor · 12/02/2011 08:09

Recently bought Estee Lauder Daywear sheer tint release and I am very pleased with it. I am very fair and as long as you do not use too much it is really good at giving an even skin tone without the over the top tan. Has had no clogging effect on my skin and I am not left with a 'shine' at the end of the day. Cost £32 but I am not using heaps and expect it will last a while also has SPF15. I tried out a tester before splashing out. moisturizer

duckyfuzz · 12/02/2011 08:19

Read sali hughes column on this in guardian today, I think she recommends chantecaille for your skin tone. I love Laura mercier.

polyhymnia · 12/02/2011 10:49

Laura Mercier and Becca. Chantecaille also nice.

CountBapula · 12/02/2011 10:52

Yup, Laura Mercier is the best base I've ever used. Bloody expensive, but a tube lasts me about six months.

BodleianBabe · 12/02/2011 11:11

I love Nivea's tinted moisturiser.

My Mum used it because she liked the effect on me but thought it made her look too pale so may be ok for you??

Lizzywishes · 12/02/2011 11:13

Laura mercier is v good. Reviews of various brands in today's guardian magazine.

Mummyisamonster · 12/02/2011 13:14

Love Laura Mercier (I'm pale too) and it lasts for yonks

Danthe4th · 12/02/2011 13:16

Highly recommend the body shop natural one

ednurse · 12/02/2011 13:16

I use Benefit - You Rebel Light which is GREAT for pale skin. Teamed with their primer (That Gal? can't remember exact name but it's the pink one in white tube) gives a lovely dewey look.

littleomar · 12/02/2011 13:18

what ednurse said.

valiumredhead · 12/02/2011 13:18

Boots No 7 one is lovely or Olay's one.

WelliBob · 12/02/2011 13:23

What is the Laura Mercier one called and where can I buy it please?
Also, when I googled there was a normal and oil free tinted moist. Which one?

WelliBob · 12/02/2011 13:24

Just saw that JL do it but three types. Is it the illuminating one?

polyhymnia · 12/02/2011 15:05

I use the original one, with SPF 20, not the oil-free or illuminating ones.

thecatatemygymsuit · 12/02/2011 15:13

I'm a big fan of Estee Lauder daywear plus, also Bobbi Brown, and am currently using a new Origins one here which I LOVE (but I do have more of a yellow tone to my skin than pink).

CountBapula · 12/02/2011 15:45

I actually prefer the oil free one as, oddly, I find it more moisturising. Worth trying the different versions to see the difference in texture.

mackerel · 13/02/2011 11:49

Clinique sheer moisture tint. Have tried lots but keep going back to this.
