What are Chantelle bra sizes like? (And is this a nice bra anyway?)

In my ongoing quest to become sleek and elegant (ha!), I am looking at pretty bras and found this:

www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product=Chantelle-Haute-Couture-Push-Up-Bra&product_id=CN-3422&size=&colour=Black

Do you think it's nice?

I've just looked at the bras I usually wear and I've got a 36C from Janet Reger for Debs and a 34DD from John Lewis. So, er, do you know if the sizes come up small or large?

Thanks! Smile

(Oh, if you saw anything else nice recently, pass a link my way?)

LittleRedDragon, I would go to bravissimo and get measured if you can. I have found that no one measures you quite like them and there is quite a difference between a 36C and a 34DD!!

Chantelle come up slightly on the tight side with average cups. I wear a 30-32 f-ff and wear a 32 e or f in a Chantelle bra, depending on the fit. If you don't want the hassle of getting measured, you can order more than one from figleaves for fit and send the other back. I would suggest a 34DD or 36D would probably be the best fit.

Figleaves customer comments usually give you an insight into each bra's particular fit as to whether it comes up small or large in comparison to what they usually wear.

NB The lady in the pic on figleaves is wearing her bra with too small cups pushing her boobs flat. I would probably get the bra in a 34 and 36D as otherwise you might get "four boob" syndrome!

Thanks polly - I hadn't thought to look for customer comments (duh!).

Figleaves is awful for showing the models wearing bras that really don't fit, isn't it?! I do find bras fit me quite differently depending when in the month it is.

I'm actually not that keen on Bravissimo - our local one is staffed by some of the rudest shop assistants known to man, and when I did get measured there they told me I was 32E, but the bra was painful (properly painful) the moment I put it on. It was clearly not the right fit, they just didn't like to admit the cup shape wasn't right for me.

Might buy a couple, try them and return the one that doesn't fit, I guess.
